I had to send rear two faulty devices (clouding, audio problems and banding) to get a decent 1 (still with some clouding). Some want to write about our experience, but I didn’t have choice. After my encounter with the Sharp’s useless and unprofessional customer support (they hung up on me) the saturation point was reached. In addition, today Sharpened announced that the new firmware update is available, nevertheless I’m (not only me personally) UNABLE to download it. Without a Sharp LC40LE835U new revise I’m unable to observe any apps including Netflix. The previous revise worked properly, nevertheless this does not work. This is actually annoying.

First impressions – Overall first impact is I am happy with my decision to purchase this TV in Panasonic VIERA TC-P55VT30 the Samsung 8000/7000 Series Brought and Plasma. I am not a fan of LCD/LED smoothing techniques.

SHIPPING was sluggish considering I obtained it on Thursday and the first offered date was Monday and after exploring the tracking it started on the other side of the city. (I might have been capable of call them and get that earlier but I failed to check tracking until Friday). They unboxed your beast and put the idea on the included stand and lifted it onto our Enjoyment Center. It has rubberized pads on the bottom of the stand so you might desire to put felt pads on the bottom if you want to arrive at the back. I decided to keep the box they would have taking it absent if I did not need it. If you hang this kind of TV make sure you install it correctly which has a massive mount, sheetrock by itself will not carry it.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS it was a little grainy when I first turned it upon, but I have not seen that after the set up screens. The display size is MASSIVE and the glass panel anti-glare is very great (freaked out about scratches). The shipping and delivery guys left hand smudges on the cup which they told me many times their sorry and make sure I use a microfiber cloth to remove these. I used the AR wine glass spray from my own glasses and its material and it came away from without scratches.

1st Blu-Ray movie was amazingly clear. I started up 24p playback and setup the TV for THX monitor mode no other modifications. My only some other HD TV is an aged 42 LCD with its best feature is changing the screen aspect ratio, so it’s night and day between the two Tv sets. I did notice without having the TV in THX mode the screen does fluctuate brightness if people are moving in the area or someone switches on the light in the additional room. So far your fluctuation in brightness (which I have seen is an issue in almost every TV that is “ECO” friendly offers this problem) has not been too distracting and really does seem to make the picture look a little soft than I would like.
While i have more time to use the online tools I am going to post more. A small problem I saw with internet “Viera” is to make sure the Wi-Fi adapter is as a long way away as possible from the TV; I had some link issues when it ended up being sitting next to the TV.

I’ve had this TV for about Your five 1/2 months now and also am still happy with it. I had Samsung PN51D450 been investigating a 42″ 720p Panasonic with IPTV functions for about $700, but when I looked at my brand-new living room, it was simply going to be too small. So I shopped some more and found this 51″ beauty pertaining to $650.

I’ve never seen a photo this good will be able to remember. The colors are perfect, the blacks are usually deep, the watching angle doesn’t remove until you’re guiding the TV, the sound is good. If this TV gives up anything to any 1080p unit, I can’t inform. I’ve seen some (high-priced) 1080p units that were simply flat out disappointing or perhaps distracting to watch. No such complaints with this particular TV. It has all the sharpness of HD while using richness of a tv TV.

One real detractor: glare is a problem in the daytime when you have a lot of windows, however it is not enough of a dilemma to make me need a different TV.

I did a lot of study on all HDTVs before buying this style. I’ve had acquire for 6 months and no problems. It’s great particularly for those that want to up grade from the old tube tv to this Ge 42LK520. It does have a lot of nice features nevertheless is also very simple and may last a long time.

I found out the new LED versions are just LCD Hd tvs with an LED again light that might burn up faster than a normal LCD HDTV thus that’s one of the reasons why I chose this model.

The 1080pixel with the 120hz movement is the best way to go since you will get a very clear image without any tracers that you might acquire with a 720p/60hz or 1080p/60hz therefore i highly recommend this Whirlpool HDTV with the 1080p/120hz. Ge is one of the best HDTV makers 47LK520 on the market. (Don’t buy a Vizio, Phillips or Magnavox,(Phillips possesses Magnavox now) they’re all junk)!

I actually bought the LG 42LK520 from supermarkets.com and selected it up at the store the same day for $598.00 available for sale.

From all the reviews I read it seems that individuals got confused with what sort of energy saver mode works, it’s very easy to either turn it down to the lowest placing so it doesn’t get darker and uneven or you can turn it off totally for standard settings, there’s a green energy mode button for the remote that allows you to quickly adjust it.

On the whole this model is best for people that don’t want to mess with a smart wifi internet connected HDTV however, you can use this the particular 42LK520 as a PC check and connect a usb device so that’s cool. It has 3 HDMI ports, coaxial cable television port, usb port, pc vga port, audio ports, manual management buttons on the correct side of the system and good dimension remote with simplink.

The first movie we watched ended up being Avatar on Blueray and also were in overall awe over the specifics, color vibrancy, contrast, etc. Also a very pleasant surprise is the 16-speaker immersive sound technology. I’ve no idea how they undertake it but we observed ourselves turning each of our heads to look aside or behind all of us at certain times in movies or even observing sports when you hear voices and sounds coming from different instructions. That’s awesome!

The only real reason I scored 4 stars as opposed to 5 is that we simply used the TV for two weeks before the lamp blew out. I’m hoping this is just because of shipping, supplying, storage, etc. Took [...] and obtained new under guarantee. Shipping in 4 business days. When not under warranty (1yr), the lamps cost $100.

After owning this particular TV (60″ model) for a number of weeks now I will say I’m delighted overall. When I watched the TV out of the box while using factory default configurations I was very sad and thought I might have to return it. The picture was darker and the brightness might change back and forth from mild to dark. Panasonic VIERA TC-P50S30 Right after playing with the configurations a bit we were capable to fix these issues. The image quality is much better compared to the DLP TV it replaced. The greens are black and the colors are much much more crisp. I don’t get BluRay so I have no idea of how it looks in full 1080p, but I’m delighted with the quality via my cable interconnection. Some comments complain about the amount of warmth the unit generates, however i haven’t noticed a problem with that even when putting my hand right over the TV. The one thing you do need to keep in mind before choosing this TV (or any plasma My partner and i imagine) is glare. The screen is almost just like a mirror. If you have the bright room you could be unhappy. Not that you must keep the room toss black, but the much more light you have being released the more likely you are to discover some reflections on the watch’s screen. I do plan on obtaining the extended warranty. I’m not sure when plasmas tend to split any more than LCD’s or perhaps DLP’s. My Samsung DLP pennyless 4 times in the 5 years I owned this. The last time it was out of warranty and i also wasn’t going to shell out money to have someone appear to look at it and after that hundreds more to repair it.

The LG 47LV5500 was even better than I expected so that it is when I purchased it. The particular Smart home screen is extremely good way to organize everything I use the TV with regard to on a daily basis. Being able to stream Netflix, MLB.tv set and access movies/music/pictures coming from my WD MyBook hard drive means I was able to fully replace my WD TV Live Plus along with my HDMI link to my computer. To make sure in the TV today!

The TV is extremely skinny. About 1.2″ thick. It’s a great image if you turn off TruMotion for movies. Still looks a little stuttery with sports nonetheless it definitely makes for a new crisp picture if you are using it. Still playing around with picture configurations but 42LV5500 the defaults are working fine for now.

Cons: I’ve only looked at the LG apps but they seem generally geared towards family/kids and not everything useful yet. With any luck , they can add something which will allow me to check on stocks at a glance or perhaps sync with a private calendar? There’s no Pandora access from the Television which my WD TV Live DID have got so that was a action backwards. When you’re moving via DLNA you can’t alter how the files display. The default display only shows the first 12-13 characters so long games are hard to read. Also, there’s no flash abilities in the web browser. This wonderful time remote is fun and convenient to use however doesn’t work inside of Video on demand even though it works inside MLB.tv. Furthermore it’s very easy to screw up the alignment in the magic remote. Even so, it’s equally as simple to realign it i really guess we’ll phone that a wash. And finally, HDMI cables inside the HDMI ports are not appearing to clip within like my aged LG tv would. Doesn’t give you that will satisfying “it’s in” sound or perhaps feel.

While I won’t get so technical like many of the reviewers below, let me say I am very pleased with this The new sony product. It exchanged a still-working-fine Sony Bravia 52XBR4. I acquired the KDL55HX820 because of the slimness and the updated functions (compared to my Bravia). My partner and i placed the order using Amazon on a Mon morning and the television set, delivered by CEVA Strategies Freight, was on my wall by Saturday KDL46HX820 afternoon. CEVA in Arkansas was a pleasure to use and the driver not merely carrier the tv in the, but made sure the idea worked properly prior to going.

The picture is sharp from every perspective of the room. This required no adjustments. We did have trouible with the Comcast HD-DVR box because the Comcast DCT6412 had no (operating) HDMI interface and also required component relationship. When Sony declares they have “component hybrid,Inches it really means these people have a dongle that dangles from the sleek television that you put the component plugs into. Awful! It also could NOT carry the indication of the Comcast DCT6412. Luckily, My spouse and i live a mile coming from a Comcast office and 2 days later, swapped my DCT6412 for a newer DCT3416. My spouse and i plugged the HDMI in and all was perfect.

On the same take note, lack of component advices, I was forced to move my Nintendo Wii to my own bedroom Sony 32EX500. The particular Wii does not have to be able to connect except together with component cables. My spouse and i still have an X-Box Three hundred sixty and a PS3, as well as an iPad connected to the brand-new tv via the Four HDMI inputs.

The particular sound is not quite as robust as that regarding my previous Bravia. I don’t always employ my home theater (Tampa bay Audio center route + 4 Bose speakers + JBL influenced 10″ sub-woofer) for normal tv set watching, however, it can be nearly a necessity permanently sound. I do not get this amazing living room, so if you carry out, this might be a consideration before purchasing this tv set.

My home has a cellular network and producing the connection between the KDL55HX820 had been very easy. The tv noticed the network right away and once the system password was entered, it joined. The sole flaw with while using the tv to browse the web is that it is VERY hard, nearly impossible, to find their way using the supplied The remote. It needs a keyboard to be a pleasurable, easy experience. Velocity has not been an issue even though may depend on your online provider. I have AT&T U-Verse 24MB (really 16-18MB) internet. If you are about slower DSL, you could have a problem.

I purchased this specific tv for $1749 through Amazon. It was my personal first BIG purchase/major consumer electronics purchase from Amazon. I saved over $500 from my cheapest electronics retailer in Miami. I really could not be more happy about the entire buying/delivery process not with this Sony KDL55HX820.

This set is a nice good set together with pretty good image top quality. I was lucky and also got one with no Flashlighting with no clouding. From the thread in AVSForum com those Two issues plague quite a lot of the 2011 sets via various manufacturers.

All round I was quite impressed with the 3D throughout Avatar, most other movies look little much better than 2D converted to 3D but I attribute this to the quality of the material getting produced by the movie industry. 3D demos coming from nVidia via PC searched great and really sprang so the set works well in that respect.

2D in order to TC-L32DT30 3D conversion generally speaking works OK. The idea tends to make some mistakes on Landscape variety scenes and does better with interiors although shadows as well as dark areas still look way out of spot at times. It is quite clear some eggheads worked on obtaining the human form to convert from 2D in order to 3D pretty well though as people usually look good.

One primary reason for this purchase was gaming and for that the extremely low input lag makes this a great set.

The picture quality is very good with deep blacks and good colour with just one issue.

Now on to that single issue. Inside the camera this set really does a very poor the conversion process to 4:Only two:0 Chroma Subsampling even when given a feed that is real RGB or one specified while 4:4:Four. There is no way to eliminate this downsampling that occurs this means you will damage colors which use red and/or blue any time next to each other or perhaps black. Panasonic support affirms there are no service food selection options for disabling this downsampling as well.

Most of the time this specific downsampling issue will not be noticed (most TV, Dvd and blu-ray, most Bluray content material). However, when using Panasonic’s individual high end DMP-BDT350 bluray person and I would envision several of their other lower end units that come with the “High Precision Several:4:4″ Chroma Sampling with regard to “More Vibrant, Smooth along with Truthful Color Reproduction” this can be noticed on occasion. This could also be noticed when you use gaming consoles such as Playstation 3 slim and Xbox 360. It’s also noticeable with a Home theatre PC and even your WDTV Live Plus. Oahu is the worst when Crimson or Blue text message is on a dark-colored background. I’ve additionally noticed it in the course of laser grids in certain movies (like if you see those red outlines for laser protection). Note: output from your same exact devices to some Sharp LC-32GP3U and even a cheap 22″ Insignia did not have this Chroma Subsampling straight down sample issue through the same sources. This matter occurs regardless of feedback used, options chosen, and as previously described is impossible to avoid in accordance with tier 3 assist from Panasonic (which had taken 4 days for you to call me rear).

Overall this is a great set for the price along with 3D in this measurement range. It has one particular very disappointing downside especially considering Panasonic within their bluray player range have been since This year touting the value of correct color reproduction. This kind of flaw from things i have read affects every one of the 2010 and 2011 sets across the Liquid crystal and Plasma traces from Panasonic and is most likely related to one of the control chips they chose.

The 51″ Animations version on this Samsung carries a wonderful photograph and a stunning overall appearance pertaining to $ 599 .00 and free of charge glasses. The one reason the television gets Four stars will be the delivery matter. We have 1080 TVs as well and that i cannot tell any big difference. With that said, our own viewing location is from 7′ to be able to 18′ away from the display. If you have a new viewing division of less than 6′ I would spring for your 1080 model. Your audio can be surprisingly great considering the fullness of the Tv set, but many of us added a good Onkyo 7.One surround sound along with WOW. Home theater baby! It was manufactured very well and also delivery was ok with best. One old guy showed up from a local supply contractor to supply this Tv set. He could barely elevate one end. He has been very nice but what the heck might he did if I had been an old girl? The TV is not hard to set up as well as simple to wall mount (not incorporated). PN51D490 The endure is great though we will not be utilising it. Amazon needs to make sure who they are contracting to deliver this stuff.
